Mayor Doukas began his tour at the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, where he viewed a wide range of collections documenting the journey of Islamic civilisation and its scientific and intellectual contributions across various fields. He also explored rare manuscripts and artistic artefacts that reflect the richness of Islamic heritage through the ages, praising the museum’s civilisational role in promoting values of tolerance and cultural dialogue.
