Sharjah 24: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered 26 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder overcame an early deficit to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 123–108, taking a 2–1 lead in the NBA Western Conference Finals series.

The Thunder weathered a fast start from the hosts before taking control with a balanced offensive performance. Four bench players scored in double figures, providing a crucial boost that helped secure a key road victory and reclaim home-court advantage in the series.

Jared McCain led Oklahoma City’s bench scoring with 24 points, while Jalen Williams added 18 points, including five three-pointers, in a strong supporting display behind Gilgeous-Alexander.

For San Antonio, French star Victor Wembanyama led all scorers with 26 points, with Devin Vassell contributing 20 points in the losing effort.

Wembanyama admitted after the game that he needed to better involve teammates and improve his overall impact, saying he must facilitate more effectively and take on offensive responsibility earlier in possessions.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault praised his team’s composure after recovering from a 15-point deficit, highlighting their ability to stay disciplined and close out a convincing win.
