Sharjah24: Al Wusta Channel from Al Dhaid is offering viewers a refreshed morning experience as it begins broadcasting its live programme Yawmiyat Al Wusta from Sharjah Safari, the largest safari park outside Africa. The move reflects the channel’s commitment, under the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, to showcasing the region’s leading tourism projects and strengthening its ongoing collaboration with the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA).

Programme schedule and presenters

The programme airs Monday to Thursday at 9:00 a.m., presented by Saeed Al Qamzi, Saif Al Teneiji, Abdulrahman Muhair Al Ketbi, Abdulrahman bin Dalmouk Al Ketbi, and Mouza Al Ketbi.

Focus on community, heritage, and regional development

The show highlights the traditions, lifestyle, and heritage of residents of the central region, exploring the area’s evolution from past to present. It also sheds light on the region’s urban and cultural development through in-depth reports, interviews with officials, and coverage of festivals and events that continue to attract increasing public interest throughout the year.

Saeed Rashid bin Fadhel Al Ketbi, Director of Al Wusta Channel from Al Dhaid, stated that the refreshed format aims to offer viewers a closer lens into the central region. He noted that Sharjah Safari was chosen as the new broadcast location as it is the emirate’s largest tourism project, providing a unique natural setting that enriches the viewing experience.
