SBA contributes to fulfilling aspirations of SSEF's youth

This participation stems from the organisation's commitment to supporting humanitarian initiatives aimed at empowering and bringing joy to children by fulfilling their wishes and creating a positive impact on their lives. The initiative included granting a number of wishes expressed by the children.

In this context, Mariam Al Khalifa, Director of Public Relations and Partnerships at the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, stated: “The ‘Sidreh of Wishes’ project embodies one of the most prominent projects that forms an important part of the Foundation’s strategy aimed at bringing joy and empowerment to children who have lost their fathers.” This makes them feel cared for by the community through activities and programs designed to bring them happiness. Since the project's launch, 3,995 wishes have been granted up to the present month.

Al Khalifa stressed that the “Sidreh of Wishes” project embodies one of the important humanitarian aspects in the journey of empowering children, by paying attention to their moral and psychological needs, and turning simple wishes into exceptional moments that leave a deep impact on their memory. It gives them a feeling of happiness and care.

She continued: Effective community partnerships represent a fundamental pillar in the success of sustainable humanitarian initiatives, noting that the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority’s contribution to fulfilling the children’s wishes reflects an honorable model of community cooperation that leaves a deep impact on the children’s hearts. It enhances their quality of life.

She added: “The ‘Sidreh of Wishes’ project is not limited to fulfilling immediate desires, but aims to build inspiring human moments that give children a sense of happiness and appreciation, and contribute to enhancing their happiness and supporting them psychologically and morally.” This aligns with the organisation's vision of empowering children and creating a supportive environment for their growth and stability.

On the other hand, Dr. Mona Abdel Aziz, Director of Programmes at Sharjah TV, confirmed: Sharjah Broadcasting Authority's participation in the " Sidreh of Wishes" project affiliated with the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation and aiming to fulfill the wishes of orphans, this initiative stems from the foundation's media and humanitarian mission to support community initiatives that focus on bringing happiness to children and empowering them psychologically and socially.

She explained that this collaboration embodies the Authority's commitment to utilising its media platforms to highlight impactful initiatives that have a profound humanitarian effect, bringing joy to children and strengthening the values of hope and solidarity within the community.

She added that " Sidreh Al-Amniyat" (The Tree of Wishes) represents a pioneering model for the integration of roles between media institutions and community organisations, emphasising the Authority's commitment to sharing these inspiring human stories, thereby enhancing community awareness and establishing a lasting positive impact on the lives of children.

The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation continues to implement its initiatives and programs aimed at empowering orphaned children and their families in various aspects of empowerment provided, including social, psychological, academic, professional, environmental and health support. Through an integrated system of development projects, inspiring programs, and initiatives that aim to create a lasting impact on their lives and instill values of social solidarity.
