This standard aims to support organisations in managing their assets effectively by achieving a balance between cost, risk and performance, while optimising available opportunities to ensure operational sustainability and improved service quality.
Engineer Abdulrahman Bukhallaf, Director of the Water Stations and Desalination Department, explained that this achievement aligns with SEWA’s commitment to enhancing its administrative and technical systems, improving performance efficiency, and ensuring resource sustainability.
He noted that the accomplishment reflects the Authority’s efforts to keep pace with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in achieving sustainable development and delivering world-class services.
The certification was made possible through the dedicated work of the Water Stations and Desalination Department team, in cooperation with the Strategy and Institutional Development Department.
He emphasised that obtaining this certification demonstrates SEWA’s continuous commitment to improvement and development in managing its critical assets, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency, reliability, and the consistent delivery of high-quality services.
