Sharjah24: The Houston Rockets secured a 114–104 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, powered by strong performances from Alperen Sengun and Kevin Durant. The win extends Houston’s winning streak to five games, boosting its season record to 10 wins and three losses.

Turkish star Alperen Sengun impressed once again, adding 11 rebounds and seven assists to his scoring record. Aaron Holiday played a vital role off the bench, scoring 14 of his 18 points in the final quarter to help secure the victory.

Cleveland’s effort falls short despite late push

De’Andre Hunter led the Cavaliers with 25 points, while Donovan Mitchell scored 19 of his 21 points in a strong final-quarter surge. Despite Evan Mobley’s 18 points, the league’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year was unable to contain Sengun’s dominance.

Cavaliers rally but Rockets hold firm

Cleveland delivered a strong third quarter, outscoring the hosts 23–5 to narrow the gap to 70–74 and spark hopes of a comeback. However, Houston regained momentum in the final stretch to secure the win.

Thunder continue exceptional season

In another fixture, defending champions the Oklahoma City Thunder maintained their excellent form with a 113–99 victory over the Sacramento Kings. The win marked their 15th of the season, with only one loss, and their seventh consecutive home victory.
