Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command participated in the "Dawahi 14" Festival, organised by the Department of Districts Affairs, to strengthen its community presence through awareness events, specialised workshops, and interactive shows for all family members at Al Qarayen Park 5. The festival continues until December 29.

Commitment to community engagement

Sharjah Police emphasized its dedication to participating in all community initiatives, particularly the Suburbs Festival, which aligns with its approach to community engagement and activating direct communication channels with the public. The festival serves as a key platform to enhance security awareness, contributing to the safety and well-being of the community.

Educational programmes and activities

The police participation included educational programmes and awareness lectures promoting positive behaviour regarding traffic safety and digital security. Activities featured at the festival included "Be Aware," "I Am a Future Police Officer," "Little Paramedic," "My Family Is My Greatest Wealth," "Counterfeiting and Forgery of Currency," a workshop on artificial intelligence applications, a police dog demonstration, and a performance by the military band from the Sharjah Police Science Academy.

Security measures and public safety

Sharjah Police also enhanced the festival's security by securing the area, organizing smooth traffic flow around the park, maintaining personnel inside the park, and providing a field medic. These measures ensured safe and convenient access for visitors while maintaining the highest levels of safety throughout the festival.
