Sharjah 24: The Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club has received a special award for offering the most volunteer opportunities (Most Provided Volunteer Opportunities) at the 5th Volunteer Forum 2025, held by the Sharjah Centre for Volunteer Work of Sharjah Social Services Department to support volunteer efforts and celebrate International Volunteer Day.

The award recognizes the club’s hard work in encouraging its members to participate in volunteer activities, especially among youth and children. By offering a range of community, cultural, and sports programs, the club plays an important role in supporting the local community.

At the forum, Saif Ali bin Dalwan Al Ketbi, who is a Board Member and Head of the Strategic Planning Committee, represented the club. He emphasized that promoting volunteering is a key part of the club’s goals. He believes that through these efforts, they are helping to build a responsible and aware generation that wants to make a positive impact.

Al Ketbi also noted that receiving this award motivates the club to continue creating quality volunteer programs, strengthen partnerships within the community, and encourage young people to get involved in experiences that help them grow and develop a sense of national pride.
