Sharjah 24: Sharjah Charity International continues its participation in the winter relief airlift, operating under Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3”, by contributing 75 tons of winter clothing. This contribution is part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip and help alleviate their suffering amidst the difficult living conditions and low temperatures during the winter season.

Humanitarian commitment

Mohammed Rashid bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charity International, stated that the association's contribution stems from its unwavering humanitarian commitment to supporting the Palestinian people. He explained that the 75 tons of winter clothing provided by the association were prepared according to the urgent needs of affected families, ensuring that aid reaches those who deserve it in a timely manner and enhancing the effectiveness of the joint humanitarian response within Operation “Chivalrous Knight 3”.

Supporting relief efforts

The relief aid plane departed from Sharjah International Airport to Al Arish Airport, carrying the aid shipment provided by the association. This is part of the ongoing relief flights in which several humanitarian organisations are participating. The Sharjah Charity International is focusing on its direct role in supporting relief efforts and dedicating its resources to meeting the basic needs of affected families.

Ibn Bayat stressed that the association’s participation in these trips reflects its continued commitment to supporting the brothers in Palestine and actively contributing to national and humanitarian initiatives aimed at alleviating the effects of crises on civilians, noting that the association continues to perform its relief role and continue its humanitarian support in line with its mission and values in supporting those in need wherever they are.
