Senegal became the first team to advance to the quarter-final stage of the tournament held in Morocco.
Baba Guèye scored twice for Senegal in the 29th and 45+3 minutes, while Ibrahim Mbaye added a third in the 77th minute. Sudan’s Ameer Abdullah Younus had opened the scoring in the 6th minute.
