Competitors are contesting 12 scenarios across tactical ranges designed in line with the highest international standards. Results are calculated based on shooting accuracy, speed of execution, and efficiency in handling diverse targets from various shooting positions, with full adherence to approved safety procedures.
Brigadier Dr Mohammed Khamis Al Othmani, Director General of the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy and head of the championship’s organising team, said the competition has demonstrated a strong spirit of challenge and discipline, reflecting the advanced capabilities of police personnel. He praised the organisation by the Police Sports Federation and confirmed that the championship will continue until 29 January, featuring speed challenge events and operational shooting competitions using rifles and pistols.
