Sharjah Police launches programme for occupational health

Sharjah24: Sharjah Police , in cooperation with the Sharjah Department of Human Resources, has launched a specialised training programme for occupational health and safety coordinators in government entities across the Emirate. The programme aims to qualify participants and develop their capabilities and skills in the field of occupational health and safety, contributing to improved job performance and the promotion of a safe working environment.

Programme content and objectives

The programme, which will continue until next Thursday, includes a review of the approved standards within the occupational health and safety system, an explanation of the mechanism for registering government departments within the programme, and an introduction to key safety areas such as first aid. These components aim to enhance the culture of prevention and raise awareness levels across government entities.

Promoting institutional integration and safety standards

Brigadier Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaour, Director General of the General Directorate of Prevention and Safety at Sharjah Police, stated that the programme will contribute to strengthening institutional integration between government entities and Sharjah Police, and support ongoing efforts to achieve the highest standards of occupational health and safety within government work environments.
