Sharjah 24: Through the Orphans' Happiness Initiative, and within the Sidra of Wishes project implemented by the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, the Foundation began its year by fulfilling the wishes of 35 children, which were delivered in the presence of Her Excellency Sheikha Jamila bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services.

In a humanitarian initiative aimed at bringing joy to the hearts of children who have lost their fathers, and enhancing their mental health and quality of life, the total number of wishes fulfilled within the project reached 3,934.This initiative embodied the value of human closeness, by sharing moments of joy with the children and fulfilling their simple aspirations, thus reinforcing the concept that making orphans happy is a fundamental pillar in the comprehensive empowerment system, and contributes to building positive memories that support their psychological and social development.

As part of the foundation's ongoing efforts to create a lasting humanitarian impact.

For her part, Mona Bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, appreciated the honor and keenness of Sheikha Jamila Al Qasimi to personally deliver the wishes, as this reflects the depth of interest in the children and enhances the humanitarian dimension of the initiative. She affirmed that the foundation is committed to developing the "Bringing Joy to Orphans" initiative in partnership with the community, as part of a comprehensive system of initiatives that ensures lasting happiness and a positive, long-term impact on the lives of the children and their families.

Al-Suwaidi added that the Sidra Al Amniyat project embodies the foundation’s vision of creating genuine joy, stemming from its belief that bringing happiness to children who have lost their fathers is not limited to meeting their basic needs, but extends to include caring for their feelings and their small dreams. Sharing genuine human moments with them contributes to building balanced personalities who are confident about the future, noting that fulfilling wishes represents a profound humanitarian message that enhances children's sense of their value and status in society. She emphasized that the initiative to bring joy to orphans is a shared societal responsibility that requires everyone's cooperation to instill the values of solidarity and compassion.

The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation continues to implement its humanitarian initiatives within a comprehensive strategic vision, reaffirming its leading role in empowering children who have lost their fathers.
