Al Hamriyah Municipality and Police enhance joint cooperation

Sharjah24: His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, received His Excellency Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Ibrahim bin Darwish, Head of Al Hamriyah Comprehensive Police Station, at the Municipality headquarters on Tuesday. Also present were Ammar Ali Al Muhairi, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the Municipality, and Captain Saeed Majid Al Shamsi from Al Hamriyah Police Station.

Achieving the highest levels of public safety and security

During the coordination meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and institutional integration between Al Hamriyah Municipality and Al Hamriyah Police, thereby supporting the security and safety system and improving the level of services provided to members of the local community in the area.

The two sides discussed several important topics, including upcoming community events and initiatives, mechanisms for strengthening the security presence, and support for joint efforts to achieve the highest levels of public safety and security, in line with the urban development and rapid growth in high-quality service and tourism facilities in the Al Hamriyah area.

Identifying issues on the ground and taking proactive measures

The meeting also addressed the necessary security requirements in light of the significant increase in the number of visitors and tourists, and the need to align security plans with this expansion to ensure smooth traffic flow, protect lives and property, and preserve the area's civilised image.

Attendees emphasised the importance of organising joint field visits and strengthening field coordination among relevant authorities. This will help identify issues on the ground and enable proactive measures that enhance security and safety, and solidify the concept of an effective partnership in serving the community.

Enhancing the quality of life and community security

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides commended the deep and complementary relationship between Al Hamriyah Municipality and Al Hamriyah Police, emphasising their shared commitment to continued coordination and cooperation to achieve strategic objectives and serve the aspirations of the wise leadership in enhancing the quality of life and community security in the Al Hamriyah area.

His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) and all its personnel, praising their significant and ongoing efforts to consolidate security and safety in the Emirate of Sharjah in general, and in the Al Hamriyah area in particular. He also commended the unwavering support and constant dedication of His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and the General Command's keen interest in strengthening community security, developing police performance, and supporting institutional partnerships that contribute to protecting society and improving quality of life, in line with the vision and directives of the wise leadership.
