Sharjah24: Dr Adnan Salloum, theatre arts expert at Rubu Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, said that the theatrical performance “Memory Lab” by Sharjah Children aims to transform the photograph into a live stage experience through theatre, presented for Xposure audiences at Aljada.

Dr Adnan Salloum, stated that the play “Memory Lab,” performed by Sharjah Children participants, seeks to summarise the history of photography and highlight the importance of old photographs for the participants, and the stories these images hold.

He added, in statements to Sharjah 24, that the value of the performance lies in being part of the Xposure International Photography Festival, complementing what the exhibition presents and introducing the importance of images — especially for the age groups targeted by Sharjah Children. He noted that through the performance, children discovered the value of photographs and how they transform into memories.
