Sharjah 24: Greg Lecoeur’s exhibition, "Mediterranean - An Ocean of Life," at Xposure International Photography Festival, showcases the surprising richness of the Mediterranean Sea’s ecosystems, highlighting how full of life they are, yet also how delicate. The ocean faces many challenges, such as climate change, pollution, overfishing, and busy shipping routes, all of which put marine life at risk.

Lecoeur’s photographs beautifully capture the underwater world, showing both its stunning beauty and its fragility. He travels to some of the most remote ocean areas, bringing to light the amazing and diverse life that can be found there.

In his work, Greg stated in an interview with “Sharjah 24” that he focuses on the incredible variety of life in the Mediterranean Sea. He believes that to protect the ocean and combat the threats it faces, people must understand what lies beneath the waves.

Through his photography, Greg strives to create a deep emotional connection to the ocean. He wants to build a bridge between human life on land and the vibrant life of the sea, showing us the beauty that can inspire a love for our oceans.
