The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Professor Esameldin Agami, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, along with vice-chancellors, college deans, academic and administrative staff, students, and parents, reflecting the strong academic and social bonds between the two countries.
Proceedings began with the national anthems of the UAE and Kuwait, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. Students Ghalia Mal Allah and Latifa Al Dakhil delivered an opening address that highlighted the historic ties and mutual loyalty between the two nations.
Dr Amina Al Marzouqi, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, emphasised the strength of UAE–Kuwait relations, praised Kuwaiti youth’s ambition, and affirmed the University’s pride in its Kuwaiti students and the role of cultural clubs in strengthening national identity and intercultural dialogue.
The programme included poetry recitals, artistic performances, and a segment highlighting Kuwait’s educational development, concluding with the honouring of participants and sponsors.
