Sharjah Retirees’ Supplementary Grants approves 27 applications

Sharjah24: The Supplementary Grants Committee for Retirees in Sharjah held its meeting on Monday morning, chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of the Human Resources Department, and Chairman of the Committee, with members present.

27 eligible applications approved

During the meeting, the committee approved 27 applications that met the requirements for the supplementary grant for retirees. The total annual financial cost of the approved grants was AED 1,380,000. The amounts will be deposited into beneficiaries’ accounts in February 2026.

Supporting retirees’ living stability

The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to improve retirees’ living standards through supplementary grants that help meet their daily needs. The committee continues to carry out its duties through structured mechanisms that ensure efficient evaluation of applications and sound decision-making, reinforcing the principles of social justice in line with Sharjah’s vision to empower all segments of society.
