SM organises a brainstorming workshop to boost innovation

Sharjah24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) organised a brainstorming workshop for officials across its organisational units as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the culture of innovation and to encourage employee participation in improving the work environment.

The workshop featured in-depth discussions on the current mechanism for receiving and evaluating institutional proposals. Participants reviewed key challenges with the existing process and suggested solutions to enhance efficiency and accelerate the processing cycle for development ideas.

A range of practical proposals was also collected to improve the system’s effectiveness and deliver added value to institutional performance.

Developing “Eqterahi” platform

The workshop focused on upgrading the “Eqterahi” system, a strategic platform that enables municipal employees to submit ideas and development initiatives across a range of municipal work areas. The platform aims to improve service quality, enhance operational efficiency, and support the municipality’s journey towards institutional excellence.

Sharjah Municipality affirmed that such initiatives reflect its commitment to empowering national talent, fostering creativity, and promoting active participation in sustainable improvement, in line with its strategic vision for leadership and innovation in municipal services.
