Al Marzouqi stated that the decoration works were carried out to celebrate the arrival of Ramadan as part of the municipality’s efforts to spread happiness across all areas of Sharjah City. He noted that the initiative aims to enhance the city’s aesthetic and civilised appearance while creating a pleasant environment that reflects the meanings and spiritual values of the blessed month.
He added that the municipality installed hundreds of illuminated shapes and decorative structures inspired by Ramadan. These include light installations featuring phrases associated with the holy month, along with beautifully coloured designs that harmonise with the Islamic architectural style that characterises buildings across the Emirate of Sharjah.
