Sharjah Municipality prepares for heavy rainfall

A workforce of 1,200 staff, including engineers, technicians, supervisors, and support personnel, has been mobilised. Equipment includes 180 water tankers, 140 high-capacity pumps, six modern dam vehicles, 20 tow trucks, and 67 temporary water collection basins to manage street flooding.

The municipality also confirmed that its contact centre (993) is fully operational to receive public reports and respond immediately, aiming to maintain safety and minimise disruptions during the rainy period.
