Mayweather to return from retirement next summer

The former multi-weight world champion retired in 2017 with an undefeated record of 50 fights but has since taken part in several exhibition bouts.

Mayweather told AFP: “I still have what it takes to break more records in boxing.” He added that from his upcoming Tyson event to his next professional fight, no one will generate higher revenue, attract a bigger global audience, or earn more than his events.

His first professional fight is scheduled for this summer, with his opponent to be announced later.
