SSSD organises group iftar for beneficiaries

Strengthening social bonds

One such initiative is a group iftar organised by the Social Assistance Department for 35 women from diverse beneficiary categories who receive social security benefits.

According to Alia Al Zaabi, Director of Social Assistance at SSSD, the gathering aims to strengthen social bonds, bring joy to beneficiaries during this blessed month, and provide an opportunity for them to get to know one another and enjoy the Ramadan atmosphere. She noted that the department organises this iftar annually, and this year it is being hosted by the Centro Sharjah Hotel.
