The issue included a study titled "Idiomatic Expressions in Al Qasimi's Discourse," which examined the book "Fara'id al-Bayan" by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The study analysed the abundance of idiomatic expressions found in the speeches, addresses, and lectures contained within the book, within diverse contexts ranging from Emirati to Gulf, Arab, and international affairs.
The issue's editorial, written by Dr Muhammad Safi Al-Mustaghani, Secretary-General of ALA, was titled "Poetry in the Balance of Islam." In it, he clarified Islam's stance on poetry, condemning that which is associated with obscenity and falsehood, while accepting that which conveys wisdom, virtue, and the defense of truth.
The issue also included an article by the Algerian writer Ahlam Mosteghanemi entitled "Malek Haddad: Martyr of the Arabic Word He Did Not Write," which explored the experience of the Algerian writer Malek Haddad and his relationship with the Arabic language and writing in it.
Alongside this was an article entitled "Arabic: The Language of Science, Education, and Administration Throughout the Ages" by Professor Dr Samir Al-Durubi, a member of the Arabic Language Academy in Jordan, and a study by Dr Bakri Al-Hajj, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sudan, on "Speech Acts in the Poetry of Dhu Al-Isba' Al-Adwani."
In the "Insights into Quranic Expression" section, the issue included a study by Ayman Abdel-Radi entitled "Linguistic and Rhetorical Glimpses in Some Verses of Surah Al-Ahzab." Rania Ibrahim wrote about "Coherence in the Quranic Surah," addressing the interconnectedness of the verses in Surah Al-Ma'arij and the structure of the surah as an aspect of its miraculous nature.
Dr Bassam Al-Jamal presented "Early Quranic Inscriptions on Stone," describing them as "a priceless treasure." Researcher Fadwa Al-Batoul, in her article "Tools of Artistic Imagery in the Quranic Narrative," explored the artistic means that give the Quranic narrative its visual and emotional impact.
In the "Linguistics" section, Dr Naeem Mustafa reviewed "The Harshness of Scholars in Describing Arabic Dialects." Muhammad Mustafa al-Shami presented a study on "Computerised Corpora and How to Utilise Them in Linguistics," explaining the value of corpora in linguistic research, automated processing, education, and translation. This section also included articles on "Rhetorical Aspects in the Words of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib" and "The Arabic Language: A Study of the Mechanisms of Power and Censorship."
In the "Lexicography" section, the journal published Sarah al-Zubaidi's study, "Lexical Investigations: Manut or Munat, from Root to Usage." It also featured research by Dr Rana Salah al-Din entitled "The Methodology of the Historical Lexicon of the Arabic Language in Studying Loanwords in the Holy Qur'an," and another by Dr Ahmad al-Khudari on "The Neologism and the Modern: Concept and Types." The section also included the article "A Journey with the Root (B-S-R)."
In the "Books and Studies" section, the issue included an article on Ibrahim Mustafa's book "Reviving Grammar," as well as "A Look at the Works that Won the Sharjah Award for Linguistic and Lexicographical Studies," which highlighted the book "On Issues of Teaching Arabic as a Second Language." It also featured an article, "The Master Text and Critical Creativity," which offered a reading of the book "The Poetic Image" between classical and contemporary texts. The "Prominent Figures of Arabic" section included two articles: "The Writer Yahya Haqqi in the Sanctuary of the Arabic Language" and "Ibn al-Jayyab al-Garnati: The Poet of Islamic Architecture in Andalusia."
The "Literature and Criticism" section included five studies that addressed issues of poetry and literature from different perspectives. The article "From Extension to Creativity" explored the presence of poetic heritage in shaping aesthetic awareness, while "Interactive Digital Literature" discussed the problems of terminology and concept in literature related to digital media.
The study "The Objective Dynamics of Deviation and Transition" examined the mechanisms of argumentation in Arabic poetry, in addition to a critical reading of the poem "Imitation of Eyelashes" by the Emirati poet Jamila Al-Ruwayhi. The issue concluded with an article titled: "How Can We Elevate the Arabic Language Student's Education?".
