Sharjah24: In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, Sharjah Children, an affiliate of the Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, has launched its “Ramadaniyat” campaign under the slogan “The month of goodness is even more special with our children.” The campaign delivers inspiring interactive content designed for children, combining entertainment with learning while encouraging values of generosity and compassion through innovative activities suited to the spirit of the holy month.
Digital activities and family engagement
The campaign is presented through the foundation’s social media accounts (shjchc), offering children and their families an engaging Ramadan experience. It features initiatives, activities and competitions that encourage participation, self-expression and creativity, while introducing humanitarian and community values in a simplified and appealing way that strengthens children’s connection to their identity and culture.
Strong engagement since launch
Since its launch, the campaign has generated significant interaction. The foundation’s platforms recorded 227,933 views of campaign-related content and 10,460 interactions from followers. It also attracted 578 new followers, bringing the total number of followers on the account to 39,167 to date. Meanwhile, 1,673 participants have taken part in the campaign’s activities.
Making the most of children’s free time
The activation of social media platforms is part of the foundation’s commitment to helping children make the best use of their free time during the temporary closure of centres throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
Downloadable interactive activity book
As part of the campaign, an interactive electronic booklet is available for download and printing. It includes a wide range of purposeful Ramadan-themed activities specially designed to match children’s interests and age groups.
Four core themes
“Ramadaniyat” is built around four main themes: giving, which encourages cooperation, initiative and helping others; family, which highlights the importance of family bonds through shared activities that bring family members together; faith, which presents spiritual concepts and values in creative ways that reinforce the meaning of the holy month; and health, which promotes healthy habits by encouraging children to exercise and adopt balanced nutrition during Ramadan.
Continuing efforts to support children’s development
The campaign reflects the ongoing efforts of Sharjah Children to design high-quality programmes and initiatives for young people. These initiatives contribute to developing children’s skills, building their character and motivating them to practise positive values in their daily lives, strengthening the spirit of harmony and generosity during the holy month of Ramadan.
