Al Hamriyah Municipality revives Ramadan values

Sharjah 24: During the holy month of Ramadan, Al Hamriyah Municipality continues to embody its community mission and strengthen its humanitarian presence through its annual "Iftar" initiative. Organised each year, this initiative serves as a bridge of giving and solidarity among community members, reflecting the values of compassion that characterize Emirati society during this blessed month.

This year, the municipality's staff continues their efforts to distribute Iftar meals to workers and road users at several key locations in Al Hamriyah, particularly in areas with high concentrations of workers and heavy traffic, just before sunset. This humanitarian gesture reflects the spirit of cooperation and unity among different segments of society.

The municipality teams participating in the initiative are committed to reaching the largest possible number of beneficiaries by organising distributions at multiple locations. This contributes to solidifying the culture of giving and generosity, and reinforces the spirit of human solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.

In this context, His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, affirmed that the “Iftar” initiative is one of the established community initiatives that the municipality is keen to implement annually, stemming from its commitment to serving the community and promoting the values of solidarity and compassion among its members.

Al Shamsi pointed out that the month of Ramadan presents a renewed opportunity to enhance humanitarian work and solidify the culture of giving. He noted that through this initiative, the municipality is keen to extend a helping hand to workers and road users, reflecting the authentic values of Emirati society in supporting others and sharing in their well-being.
