Al Dhaid Club concludes its Ramadan Open Shooting Championship

Sharjah 24: Al Dhaid Club successfully concluded its 31st Ramadan Open Shooting Championship, held as part of the 7th Al Dhaid Ramadan Forum in cooperation with the UAE Shooting Federation and under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), at the club's shooting range.

The championship saw wide participation from various age groups, reflecting the club's commitment to promoting and spreading a culture of sports among all segments of society, from amateurs to professionals, in a unique Ramadan competitive atmosphere that fosters sportsmanship and community cohesion.

 

200 athletes

 

Participants competed in four categories: Junior Shooter (14 years and under), Youth (15-20 years), Men (21-50 years), and Seniors (50 years and over).

 

At the conclusion of the championship, His Excellency Mohammed Suhail Khamis Al Neyadi, President of the UAE Shooting Federation, and His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, presented the awards to the winners. His Excellency Rashid Abdullah bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Secretary of the Club, and His Excellency Malik Musbeh Abdullah Al Ketbi, Board Member and General Supervisor of the Shooting Range, congratulated the winners of the championship.

 

Nurturing talent and promoting the sport of shooting in the community

 

His Excellency Mohammed Suhail Khamis Al Neyadi, President of the UAE Shooting Federation, praised the championship and the number of participants, which exceeded 200, congratulating the winners on their outstanding results.

 

For his part, His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, thanked the UAE Shooting Federation and the Sharjah Sports Council for their ongoing support and sponsorship of the championships, emphasising their importance in discovering and nurturing talent and promoting the sport of shooting in the community.
