SM completes removing rainwater from key roads

Sharjah24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) confirmed the completion of efforts to remove accumulated rainwater from major roads and key traffic routes across the city following the recent weather conditions.

Hamed Al Qaed, a member of the Higher Committee for Rain Emergencies at Sharjah City Municipality, stated that municipal teams successfully cleared accumulated water from main roads, including Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Emirates Road, and Airport Road, restoring smooth traffic flow.

Intensified efforts ensure traffic flow

Al Qaed explained in statements to “Sharjah24” that the municipality intensified its efforts to speed up water removal and treatment, ensuring uninterrupted services and maintaining traffic flow across the city.

He reassured the public that municipal teams remain deployed across all internal areas and residential neighbourhoods, continuing operations around the clock to address any remaining impacts.

He added that work teams operate continuously, confirming that efforts will persist 24 hours a day to ensure full readiness and swift response wherever required.
