Al Dhaid Club celebrates 45 memorisers of the Holy Quran

Sharjah24: His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, announced the completion of the 19th edition of the Al Dhaid Club Quran Award, held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Head of Sharjah Finance Department (SFD), and overseen by the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment. The 45 winners across various award categories were honoured at a ceremony held on Saturday morning at the Cultural Centre.

Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club honoured the winners of its 19th edition of the Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Award on Saturday morning at the Cultural Centre. The ceremony celebrated the 45 winners across the award categories, with their families in attendance alongside several officials, dignitaries, and residents of the Central Region.

Significant participation

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, confirmed that the award has completed its 19th edition, with significant participation from various segments of society who competed across the award categories. This year, the award celebrated a distinguished group of memorisers of the Holy Quran.

His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Head of SFD and patron of the award, commending his unwavering support and generous patronage, which form the cornerstone of the continuity of this Quranic endeavour and enhance the award's role in serving the Holy Quran.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club also praised the efforts of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment for overseeing the award categories, commending the constructive cooperation that contributed to the success of this award.
