Sharjah 24: The Arab Cultural Club in Sharjah organized a poetry evening titled “Mirrors of the Soul,” featuring poets Yasser Dahhi, Hamza Al-Youssef, Mohammed Al-Muayyad Al-Majzoub, and Amira Tawhid. The event was moderated by Amal Sarem and attended by Dr. Omar Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, along with a number of intellectuals and writers.

Yasser Dahhi opens with existential themes

The evening began with Yasser Dahhi, who presented poems reflecting his focus on existential questions and the contradictions of life, highlighting a balance between anxiety, joy, and fear.

Hamza Al-Youssef’s vivid imagery

Hamza Al-Youssef followed with a series of poems marked by deep emotion and longing, featuring creative imagery inspired by reality, history, and symbolism, as well as varied expressive styles.

Amira Tawhid’s spiritual reflections

Amira Tawhid presented emotional, spiritually influenced texts centered on themes of fear and hope, expressing divine love and inner peace through rich and evocative language.

Mohammed Al-Muayyad Al-Majzoub concludes

The evening concluded with Mohammed Al-Muayyad Al-Majzoub, who delivered narrative-style poetry, using storytelling to convey his ideas, supported by strong language and diverse stylistic techniques.
