Dr Saeed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Director of the Sharjah Traffic Prosecution, called for the safe use of roads and warned against any behaviour that could obstruct traffic or endanger users, particularly during morning peak hours coinciding with the school reopening.
He stressed the importance of avoiding actions such as placing or throwing materials onto roads that could cause damage, injury, or traffic disruption. He also highlighted the need to avoid parking in prohibited areas, noting that if parking is necessary, drivers should use the right shoulder only and stay clear of intersections, curves, and slopes.
The prosecution also emphasised that pedestrians and personal vehicle users must only cross roads through designated areas, with stricter penalties applied on high-speed roads. It called for increased caution, especially in residential, commercial, and school zones, as well as near vital facilities.
