UAE wins 12 medals at FEI Regional Jumping Final

Sharjah 24: UAE show jumpers secured a total of 12 medals—6 gold, 5 silver, and 1 bronze—at the FEI Regional Group VII Final held in Doha, Qatar, across team and individual competitions.

Strong UAE performance across categories

The championship at the Longines Arena in Al Shaqab featured junior, cadets, young rider, and under-25 categories, with more than 100 riders from across the region competing for a prize fund of €318,000. UAE riders delivered standout performances across all levels.

Team titles in junior and youth categories

The UAE claimed the Junior Team Championship title at 120cm and the Youth Team title at 130cm, while also securing silver in the Children’s Team category, highlighting consistent results across age groups.

Individual victories and podium finishes

In individual events, UAE riders dominated multiple categories, including gold and silver in juniors, cadets, and children’s events. Omar Abdulaziz Al Marzouqi also won the under-25 Grand Prix title, with strong UAE representation filling several podium places across competitions.

Praise for rising equestrian talent

Coach Hamad Al Karbi praised the results, noting the strong development of UAE riders across age groups and their ability to compete at international level, reflecting growing depth and continued support for equestrian sport in the country.
