Al Dhaid Municipality manages Souq Sharia't

Sharjah 24: Al Dhaid Municipality officially took over the technical and administrative management of both Souq Sharia't and Al Hisn Market from Authority for Initiatives Implementation "Mubadara". This took place during a field visit by a committee of department directors and section heads from the municipality, in the presence of a delegation from Mubadara, who formally handed over the two markets. This move is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency of managing and operating heritage and tourism facilities in the region.

These projects, implemented by Authority for Initiatives Implementation "Mubadara", are vital initiatives that contribute to supporting commercial activities and providing an organised environment that serves residents and visitors, in line with sustainable development plans and improving the quality of life in the city.

Projects’ management and operation according to the highest standards

His Excellency Hamad Rashid Al Tunaiji, Director of Al Dhaid Municipality, emphasised that taking over these projects represents a significant addition to the municipality's service facilities. He noted the municipality's commitment to managing and operating them according to the highest standards to ensure their sustainability and maximise their benefit to the community.

Al-Tunaiji also commended the efforts of the Initiatives Implementation Authority, headed by His Excellency Counsellor Salah bin Butti Al-Muhairi, expressing his sincere thanks and appreciation for their fruitful cooperation and their significant role in implementing and delivering these projects according to the highest standards, which contributes to supporting the development and services process in the Emirate of Sharjah.
