UAE athletics team to compete in 7 events at Arab Championship

The team will take part over two days in competitions including the 200m races for both men and women, the hammer throw for both categories, the 4x100m relay, and the javelin throw and pole vault for women.

Ali Ghazwan, team manager, praised athlete Samar Saleh's performance in the high jump, noting her close attempt to secure a bronze medal after reaching 1.55 metres.

He highlighted the strong performances across the squad, emphasising the promising potential of younger athletes born in 2010, who are competing against older participants born in 2007, thereby reflecting a solid foundation for the future of UAE athletics.
