Sharjah24: Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Humaid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, continued his field visits to sports clubs across the emirate, reviewing development plans, programmes and operational challenges.

Five clubs covered in field visits

Over the past two days, Sheikh Khalid visited several clubs, including the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, the Sharjah Ladies Chess and Culture Club, and the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club.

At each venue, he was received by board chairpersons and members, during which he reviewed activity plans, inspected facilities and discussed key implementation challenges.

Delegation accompanies council chairman

The visits were attended by a delegation comprising His Excellency Dr Abdullah Abdulrahman bin Sultan, Vice Chairman of the Council; several board members and officials; and His Excellency Mohammed Obaid Al Hosan, Secretary-General.

Strengthening sports development

The visits are part of the Council’s ongoing efforts to support clubs, enhance operational efficiency and ensure alignment with Sharjah’s broader sports development strategy.
