Sheikh Dr Khalid Al Qasimi tours Al Thiqah Club

Sharjah24: Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Humaid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, continued his field visits on Monday, 20 April. He visited Al Thiqah Club for Disabled in the morning and Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club in the afternoon. During both visits, he met with the chairmen and board members of each club to discuss work plans, programmes and operational challenges.

Accompanying delegation

He was accompanied by a delegation that included Dr. Abdullah Abdulrahman bin Sultan, Vice Chairman of the Council, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Yasi, Board Member, Mohammed Obaid Al Husan, Secretary-General of the Council, Khalid Mohammed Ahmed, Head of Public Relations, and Abdulrahman bin Darwish from the Chairman’s office.

Meeting at Al Thiqah Club

At Al Thiqah Club for Disabled, he met Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board, Olympic champion Mohammed Abdullah Al Qayed, Acting Executive Director and Board Member, Abdulghafoor Al Raisi, Board Member, and Mohammed Suhail bin Al Hadi, Technical Director.

Meeting at Self-Defence Club

At Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club, he met Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Board, Obaid Al Asam Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman, Board Members Mohammed Saeed Al Hamour and Mohammed Hamid Al Owais, and Executive Director Mahmoud Lotfi.

Appreciation for support

Officials from both clubs expressed their appreciation for the visit and its positive impact, affirming their commitment to implementing the Council’s vision and plans to enhance the Emirate’s presence and achievements locally and internationally.
