500 runners participate in Sharjah Charity Run 2026

Sharjah 24: With the participation of 500 runners, the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) organised the fourth edition of the Sharjah Charity Run 2026 on Saturday, March 7th, as part of its community events programme for the holy month of Ramadan. The race started and finished in front of the Sharjah Grand Mosque, and its proceeds were dedicated to The Big Heart Foundation, which has made extensive humanitarian contributions both within the UAE and abroad.

The winners were crowned by Yousef Al Hosani, Acting Director of the Sports and Community Events Department. He praised the success of the event and thanked all the entities that participated in sponsoring and organising it.

Results are as follows:

10km Race for Emirati Men: 1st Abdullah Saeed, 2nd Ahmed Ismail, 3rd Saeed Ahmed. For Emirati Women: 1st Hessa Ahli, 2nd Hind Ahli. Men's Open Category: 1st Abdullah Dweidar, 2nd Godfrey Segol, 3rd Joseph King. For Women: 1st Fidelia Miguel, 2nd Gemma Brown, 3rd Michelle Pereira.

5km Race for Emirati Men: 1st Sultan Al Ali, 2nd Hamdan Al Hosani, 3rd Rashid Bin Rakad. For Emirati Women: 1st Afraa Al Suwaidi, 2nd Mahra Al Mulla, 3rd Amna Al Mazmi. Men's Open Category: 1st Guido Grace, 2nd Peter Mwendi, 3rd Moussa Issa.

3km Race for Emirati Men: 1st Abdul Aziz Nasser, 2nd Ahmed Shehab, 3rd Hassan Al Ghali. For Emirati Women: 1st Noura Al Khalaf, 2nd Badour Bin Yaqoub, 3rd Khawla Al Balushi. Men's Open Category: 1st Victor Korir, 2nd Mohammed Joudah, 3rd Mohammed Al-Maskani and the women: First place: Ibtisam Marzouqi, Second place: Jouri Al-Sayed, Third place: Goldorin Nourmanbetova

1 km race for boys: First place: Obaid Al-Ketbi, Second place: Sultan Al-Dhaheri, Third place: Saeed Al-Ali. For girls: First place: Fatima Al-Hammadi, Second place: Zainab Nabil, Third place: Mahra Bader.
