The "At the Table" section of this issue discusses form and content in Nabati poetry, exploring the challenges of idea and poetic imagery. The "Ink of the Pioneers" section commemorates the life and work of the late Emirati poet Ahmed bin Ali Al-Kindi, while the "Provisions of the Years" section presents some of the poets' writings on the aesthetics of nature and geography in the Arabian Peninsula.
The "Windows of the Self" section explored the experiences and creative works of Kuwaiti poet Moudhi Rahal, while "Illuminating Treasures" presented a reading of Abdullah bin Dhiban's "Wajdaniyat" (Spiritualities) through his sung poems. "Thresholds of Beauty" examined the theme of rain and its various purposes in the poems of Emirati poet Hamad bin Harib Al-Amimi, and "Nabataean Shores" explored the work of the poet "Saudi Horse."
"Orbits" examined the formal and semantic transformations in popular poetry, while "Spaces" took us to the theme of mercy in popular and Nabati poetry as a symbol of social tolerance. "Descriptions" explored the theme of alienation in dialect poetry from the Maghreb, and finally, "Publications and Insights" highlighted the collection "O Heart of the Stranger" by Omani poet Hamoud Al-Hajri.
