The Youth League featured 14 teams. Sharjah competed in Group B in a home-and-away format, playing 12 matches and consistently delivering strong performances that earned them a place in the final round.
In the final round (the decisive stage), Sharjah Club advanced alongside Al Nasr, Al Wasl, and Shabab Al Ahli. Sharjah Club continued their impressive run, clinching the title after winning all their final matches without a single loss, thus confirming their superiority despite having one final match remaining against Al Nasr.
Planning and teamwork
For his part, Engineer Suleiman Abdulrahman Al Hajri, member of the Sharjah Sports Club's Board of Directors and Head of Individual Sports, expressed his pride in this achievement, praising the players' fighting spirit and emphasising that this victory was the result of organised work and continuous effort throughout the season. He said, "What has been achieved is not a coincidence, but rather the fruit of planning and teamwork. We are proud that the club's members have proven themselves up to the task and have succeeded in raising the club's name high, confirming the significant role of the administrative and technical staff and their expertise in achieving this accomplishment."
Al Hajri pointed out that the club's achievements would not have been possible without the strong support that individual sports receive from the club's Board of Directors, in addition to the prominent role played by the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) in supporting and developing these sports. He noted that the continuous efforts have contributed to raising the level of individual sports in the emirate in general, and at Sharjah Club in particular, which has been clearly reflected in the outstanding results this season.
High quality of the club's grassroots development programme
The head of individual sports at Sharjah Sports Club emphasised the club's pride in its role in supplying the national teams with exceptional talent, noting their constant pride in the presence of club players within the national squads, reflecting the high quality of the club's grassroots development programme. He highlighted the continued participation of table tennis duo Ahmed and Mohammed Saeed with the national teams, expressing his strong confidence in all club players to deliver a distinguished representation of the UAE at the Gulf Games – Doha 2026, and to raise the UAE flag high at this sporting event.
Al-Hajri explained that this achievement reflects the club's clear dominance in table tennis competitions this season, having secured three significant titles: the Junior League and the Youth League, all with one round remaining in the competitions. This clearly demonstrates the strength of the club's foundation and the comprehensive technical development within the club.
