Sharjah 24: Through its platform, the Sharjah Police (SP) is taking part in the 14th annual Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF) by hosting a variety of events, including workshops and awareness-raising events, designed to foster a lifelong appreciation of reading and a desire in young people to enrich their minds through the purchase of books.
According to the Police Science Academy's Director General, Brigadier General Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al Athmni, the academy houses a significant collection with a broad variety of literature for children and their families.
He elaborated on the festival's motto, "Train your Brain," saying that it serves as an umbrella for numerous programmes and events that aim to raise awareness and qualify participants via positive role models.
According to Brigadier Arif Hassan Hudaib, Director of Media and Public Relations at the SP, the police leadership platform will provide youngsters with a number of awareness-raising activities, seminars, and educational lectures.
