Sharjah National Park marks 54th Eid Al Etihad with pride

Sharjah 24: Samira Al Ghais, Vice Chairperson of the Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee, expressed her delight at being with the public at Sharjah National Park as part of the committee's activities for the 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations, which begin today, Wednesday, and continue until December 2, 2025.

The celebrations include numerous recreational activities for all segments of society, as well as dialogue sessions highlighting national identity.

Samira Al Ghais emphasised that this atmosphere combines moments of pride and joy.

Highlights of the celebrations

Al Ghais explained that the celebrations feature a variety of engaging and patriotic programmes for adults, children, senior citizens, and all segments of society. She added that this event is eagerly anticipated by the public every year due to its diverse performances, entertainment workshops, folk groups, and traditional cuisine.

Purpose and cultural significance

She noted that the events are designed to target all segments of society, both citizens and residents, to celebrate the Year of the Community and to benefit from dialogue sessions that highlight national identity through Emirati heritage, customs, traditions, and the importance of maintaining family ties.
