Sharjah 24: The Rubu’ Qarn Music organization has announced a significant national achievement: the inaugural international performance of its orchestra. This concert occurred on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Al Hussein Cultural Centre in Amman, Jordan, and was hosted by the National Music Conservatory - King Hussein Foundation in collaboration with the Tariq Al Jundi Academy.

The team at Rubu’ Qarn Music—comprising Professor Muhannad Al Khatib, Professor Sarah Adel, and Professor Abdullah Atfeh—engaged in the development of orchestral arrangements, the preparation of musical works, and the enhancement of student skills essential for international participation. The program's culmination was an orchestral camp that commenced on November 9 at the National Music Institute, in cooperation with the Tariq Al Jundi Academy in Amman.

During the concert, the ensemble presented a carefully curated selection of musical pieces orchestrated by the Rubu’ Qarn ensemble, executed with exceptional professionalism. Under the direction of oud player Tariq Al Jundi, the concert at the Al Hussein Cultural Centre garnered enthusiastic participation from the audience.

This accomplishment aligns with the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, which seeks to empower children and youth while fostering a culturally aware generation that is receptive to global cultures. Such an achievement directly contributes to the goals of the Emirate to reinforce its status as a prominent cultural center. Additionally, it fulfills the objectives of Rubu’ Qarn Music, which aim to cultivate national talent and prepare students for success in regional and international contexts through substantive educational programs and artistic experiences that transcend geographical boundaries.

Professor Furat Qaddouri, Executive Director of Rubu’ Qarn Music, articulated that this performance signifies the Rubu’ Qarn Music Orchestra’s international debut, thereby enhancing the Emirate’s prominence in global cultural and musical events. This milestone embodies Rubu’ Qarn’s vision of nurturing a capable generation equipped to represent Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates across diverse educational, cultural, and artistic sectors. It also highlights the necessity of investing in educational music programs that prioritize skill development, create premier training environments, and provide opportunities for international exposure, thereby enriching student knowledge and strengthening their global presence.

In this context, the Rubu’ Qarn Music extends its sincere gratitude to the Government of Sharjah and to Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi for her unwavering support and faith in the capabilities of the youth, as well as the importance of facilitating their participation in international events that effectively project a distinguished image of the Emirate and the UAE. The center also expresses appreciation to the National Music Institute for its exemplary hospitality and productive cooperation, particularly to its Director, Professor Mohammed Othman Siddiq, for his efforts and support in ensuring the successful execution of the program and the concert. Finally, the center conveys its heartfelt thanks to the attendees and audience whose engagement and support contributed significantly to the success of this artistic event.
