During the visit, participants explored various facilities, learning about important scientific exhibits and collections. They were introduced to different plant and animal species that are vital parts of the UAE’s local environment. Specialised explanations were also provided on national efforts in environmental conservation and wildlife protection.
Engineer Khalifa Al Darmaki, Director of the Al Dhaid Branch, emphasised that this initiative is part of the branch’s activities to celebrate UAE’s Eid Al Etihad and to promote values of belonging and national pride. He noted that such educational programmes showcase the UAE’s significant achievements in conserving its natural environment and wildlife.
The visit also enhanced community engagement, reinforced the role of institutions in participating in national celebrations, and highlighted the museum and centre's efforts to raise environmental awareness among the public.
