Tremors felt across region

Tremors were felt in the state capital, Juneau, as well as in neighbouring areas of Canada, local media reported.

Epicentre and depth

The USGS reported that the epicentre was located 96 kilometres northeast of Yakutat at a depth of 10 kilometres.

No casualties or damage reported

Authorities confirmed that no casualties or property damage have been reported following the earthquake.
