The festival further boosted consumer confidence in the quality and competitiveness of Emirati honey and established an active marketplace that encouraged direct engagement between producers and consumers, supported by cultural and interactive programmes catering to all demographics.
His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), affirmed that the festival has developed into a strategic platform contributing to national food security and supporting local beekeepers in expanding their market reach.
General Coordinator Mohammed Musabeh Al Tunaiji stated that the second edition surpassed expectations, driven by increased consumer awareness of local natural products and the improved technical expertise demonstrated by participating beekeepers.
Alongside commercial activities, the festival offered scientific and training workshops, awareness sessions, and expert-led lectures covering modern beekeeping, innovative extraction techniques, and international quality standards. Live demonstrations showcased best practices in maintaining high-quality honey, while interactive initiatives educated visitors about the environmental importance of bees and their vital role in ecological sustainability.
