The festival will feature 201 purebred Arabian horses from various clubs and stables across the country. It is dedicated to mares aged one to three years only and is accredited by the European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations (ECAHO). The event is held in cooperation with the Emirates Arabian Horse Society and under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council, Sharjah Police General Command, Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, and many other departments and institutions.
Sultan Mohammed Khalifa Al Yahyai, Director-General of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, confirmed that the Sharjah Kalba Arabian Horse Festival aims to highlight the authentic beauty of Arabian horses through the strong cooperation of partners and sponsors, who played a key role in the event’s success. He added that the festival’s location on Kalba Corniche beach provides an experience that combines sport, entertainment, and tourism, enhancing the Emirate’s position as a leading destination for sports tourism. The festival will also feature a variety of activities and entertainment for visiting audiences.
