In the juniors category, Sharjah Women’s Sports athlete Alia Khalid Saeed secured second place individually. Sharjah reinforced its dominance by winning first place in the team event through athletes Alia Khalid Saeed, Hamda Jassim, Fawaghi Hameed, and Mahra Jassim.
Khorfakkan Women’s Sports Club also delivered a notable performance, securing third place with athletes Mira Ibrahim Al Dhanhani, Fatima Rashid Al Murshedi, Nouf Ibrahim Al Dhanhani, and Hamda Mana Saeed, reflecting the team's clear technical progress and rising readiness.
In the youth division, Sharjah Women’s Sports sustained its momentum as athlete Alia Khalid Al Muhairi secured second place individually before leading her team to first place overall. The winning team comprised Al Muhairi, Sara Fahad, Mahra Al Khazraji and Salama Al Khazraji, demonstrating cohesive teamwork and strategic race execution.
In the young women’s category, Sharjah athlete Asmita Ganesh secured second place after a strong finish in the final stages of the race. Khorfakkan Women’s Sports maintained its presence in the senior division with a bronze medal won by athlete Kawthar Abdul Qayoom Shah.
Reflecting on Khorfakkan’s participation, running coach Abu Bakr Kaki said the results reflect a sustained training phase aimed at developing strong technical and physical foundations. "We focused on tailored training plans suited to each age category, and today’s outcomes demonstrate the athletes’ commitment and rapid progress. The performances in the juniors and senior divisions confirm we are on the right path, and we aim to increase our upcoming participations to boost competitive exposure.”
Meanwhile, Hend Al Kabawi, Technical Director of Athletics at Sharjah Women’s Sports Club, highlighted that winning the juniors and youth titles was the result of a comprehensive training approach. „We worked on enhancing running efficiency, pace control and team coordination. The excellence demonstrated in this championship stems from consistent, structured training and discipline. We continue to develop a strong athlete base capable of representing the club confidently at local and international events.“
