Sharjah 24: Sharjah Women’s Sports Club delivered an outstanding performance at the Vice President’s Cup for Junior and Youth athletics (April 3–5, 2026), securing numerous medals and setting several new national records, reflecting strong technical progress and depth in talent.

The team excelled across track and field events, with standout performances in pole vault, hurdles, throws, relays, and middle-distance races. Multiple athletes claimed gold medals, while records were broken in events such as pole vault, shot put, triple jump, and javelin, highlighting their rising competitive level. Relay teams also contributed significantly, underlining the club’s strength across different disciplines and age groups.

Growing depth and future outlook

Khorfakkan Women’s Sports Club also recorded notable results, earning several medals and showing increasing competitiveness.
