Affirming Arabic as a pillar of national identity
The initiative underscored the status of the Arabic language as a fundamental pillar of national cultural identity. During the event, His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiten Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, accompanied by Mr Maher Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Club, delivered words of appreciation and gratitude to the honoured teachers. They commended their efforts in instilling the values of the Arabic language in younger generations and their central role in safeguarding it and strengthening its educational and intellectual presence.

His Excellency Salem bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi affirmed that honouring Arabic language teachers stems from the club’s deep belief in their noble mission and their influential role in preserving the Arabic language as a vessel of identity and belonging, and as a key component in building cultural awareness among students.

For his part, Khalifa Mubarak Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural and Community Development Committee at Al Dhaid Club, explained that the initiative represents a message of appreciation to every teacher who contributes to protecting the Arabic language and strengthening its standing in the conscience of society. He stressed that caring for the Arabic language is a genuine investment in the nation’s present and future.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Chairman of the Board and the Executive Director honoured the participating teachers, who expressed their happiness and gratitude for this gesture.
