Al Hamriyah Club gears up for Asian Sailing Championship

Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club held its regular board meeting for the 2024/2025 sports season on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. The meeting was attended by Chairman Humaid Al Shamsi, board members, and the executive director.

Final preparations under review

The meeting reviewed the latest updates and final preparations for the Asian Youth Modern Sailing Championship, scheduled to be hosted and organised by the club from December 25 to 30, 2025, in cooperation with the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation.

Emphasis on coordination and teamwork

The chairman and board members praised the efforts of the teams overseeing technical and logistical arrangements, stressing the importance of continued coordination and teamwork to ensure the championship is delivered to the highest standards and provides optimal conditions for all participating teams.

Appreciation for patronage and support

At the conclusion of the meeting, the board expressed sincere thanks to His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for his generous patronage of the championship. The board also commended the support of Al Hamriyah Municipality, the Sharjah Sports Council, and sponsors Asas Steel and Ajmal Makaan for their contributions to the success of the Asian championship.
